Addressing spill risks within the industry

Who we are

Environmental Stewards

Protecting Our Port, Preserving Our Environment
At the Liquid Spillage Control Committee (LSCC), we believe that preventing a problem is always better than cleaning one up. That’s why our member companies, along with local, state, and federal partners, work year-round to prevent liquid spills that could impact Charleston’s waters and communities. We take our responsibility seriously—conducting regular training, sharing best practices, and building strong relationships with agencies like the Coast Guard, Environmental Protection Agency, SC Department of Environmental Services and local other entities. And if an incident ever does occur, we’re ready to respond quickly and effectively to minimize harm and restore safety.
